Dear Marshdale Families,

It was great to see so many parents at our Valentine’s Day parties on Wednesday. The boxes students brought in were very impressive! Thanks to our room parents for organizing a fun event for our kids.

Speaking of fun events; thank you Ashely Remington and our PTA for organizing the Skate the Lake event. I know it was touch and go with the weather, and I hope everyone had fun.

The Marshdale Accountability Committee met this past week and discussed enrollment, surveys, playground safety and Hug & Go. Here is a link to the agenda if you’re interested in learning more.

Hug & Go: Kinder Parents: Please keep your speeds down as you pass the main line as some students get out on the north side of their car.

Please click MUSTANG WEEKLY  for our Sunday newsletter, so you are up to date on what is happening in the Marshdale community.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a great start to the new year. We are expecting some tired children this first week back. As we welcome students back, time will be spent going over expectations and routines. Our Student Leadership group worked on creating posters that will be hung in different locations around the building to help set a positive tone for the new year. Students will put their thumb prints on the posters to help create a sense of ownership. Make sure to look for them next time you're in the building. A huge Thank You to the Weeks family for donating their time on printing the posters.
