Meet the Principal

Dear Marshdale Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the Principal of Marshdale Elementary School. I am honored and excited to be a part of this wonderful community and contribute to the continued success of our students.

I have had the privilege of serving within Jeffco Public Schools for the past 17 years, and I bring 11 years of experience as a school principal to this role. 2024-2025 will be my 6th year at Marshdale. During my time here, my own son attended Marshdale, and I have fond memories of witnessing the positive impact this school has on young learners.

I am deeply committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

At Marshdale, we believe in the "whole child" approach to education, focusing on the social, emotional, and academic growth of each student. We strive to build strong relationships with our students, families, and staff, and I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative partnership that supports the success of all.

I am eager to learn more about your children and to connect with each of you. Please feel free to stop by my office or introduce yourself at upcoming school events. I look forward to working together to create a vibrant and enriching learning experience for all of our students, including my daughter, Poppy, who is currently in 2nd grade here.
